A note on gathering
Culture becomes most generous when a room gives people more than one way to enter.
Movement changes the boundary between stage and audience. Even a guest who never gets up can feel the shift when rhythm travels through a room. Dance becomes a shared language of attention: watching, remembering, responding, and sometimes joining in.
The hosting task is to make participation optional but available. Offer enough context for a new guest, leave physical space where movement can happen, and avoid the pressure that turns joy into performance.
